Service scope

Ntropy is intended for use only in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). The Service may be technically accessible from other regions, but it is not actively offered or targeted outside the DACH region.

Getting help

Report a bug

If you encounter a technical issue or bug:

  1. Use the "Report a Bug" feature in the app (found in the About Ntropy screen).
  2. Include a detailed description of what happened.
  3. Describe what you were trying to do when the issue occurred.
  4. If possible, note the steps to reproduce the issue.

Bug reports help us improve Ntropy for everyone.

Common questions

  • Sign in using one of the available sign-in options.
  • Join an existing group using an invite from one of its members.
  • Start participating in your group.

Account & privacy

Account management

  • Manage your contact email(s): use the account management section in Settings.
  • Reset your password: use the forgot-password flow from the sign-in screen.
  • Delete your account: use the "Danger Zone" section in Settings.
  • Data requests: for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability requests, email support with your registered email address.

Privacy & security

  • Review our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.
  • Actions that contribute to collective outcomes are displayed in aggregated form rather than as individually identifying events.
  • Contact information is only made visible to other members in limited contexts surfaced by the app.
  • Personalization settings are private to your account.

Content & moderation

Reporting abusive content

If you encounter abusive or illegal content:

  1. Use the report option on the content and pick a reason from the list the app shows you.
  2. Reports are reviewed by the people responsible for moderating that space.
  3. Content that violates our terms will be removed.

Content guidelines

  • Be respectful in everything you post.
  • Keep contributions clear and relevant to your group.
  • Follow your group's purpose and guidelines.
  • Do not post illegal, abusive, hateful, or threatening content.

Group owner and moderator controls

Group owners and the moderators they appoint can configure settings of the group, manage membership, moderate content, and ultimately remove the group.

Technical support

App performance issues

If the app is slow or unresponsive:

  1. Ensure you have a stable internet connection.
  2. Try closing and reopening the app.
  3. Check if you're using the latest version of the app.
  4. Restart your device if issues persist.

Sync issues

If your data isn't syncing:

  1. Check your internet connection.
  2. Pull down to refresh on relevant screens.
  3. Sign out and sign back in.
  4. Contact support if the problem continues.

iOS

  • Ensure you're running a supported iOS version.
  • Update to the latest app version from the App Store.

Android

  • Ensure you're running a supported Android version.
  • Update to the latest app version from Google Play.
